Is it too late to get Braces?!

Question: Is it too late to get Braces?
Hi i am 21 now. My whole life i had buck teeths, or bunny teeth, and its really hard to smile on camera's or even people around me. I usually get teased on or laughed at. but peoples comment don't hurt me much though because its the truth, i dont like it myself haha. every time i look in the mirror it bothers me! because it really doesn't look good to me. so i was wondering.. is it already too late to get braces to fix the teeth that i should've had before it formed like this? or can it straightened out still? let me know!

No its not too late to get braces. My dad, my uncle and my brother are all dentists. My teeth were straight for the longest time and then when I hit my 20's, they slid out of place after having some wisdom teeth removed. Anyway, I was 26 and I got Invisaline (the clear slide on braces). They are a little more expensive than regular braces, but if you are self conscious about having metal in your mouth. They are the way to go!
They are not as painful from what I hear either. I have seen people in their 40's and 50's with braces, so unless your mouth is in bad condition, you are probably okay to get them.

I grew up in dentistry and planning on being a dentist myself

It's good that you don't let other people get to you. But if you don't like your teeth you should, for sure get braces, it is never to late. My cousin got them at 33

No it is not to late.Im twenty-two and im getting braces on wednesday. If you could afford it now that your older or if your insurance covers it then go for it.

You can still get braces. Talk to your dentist. :)
