Answers:

I had a tooth out just recently due to an abscess, and the symptoms are bad taste in mouth, throbbing of the gum, and soreness or tenderness of the root of the tooth. This needs to be looked at by your dentist as soon as possible as if left untreated it can be dangerous to your health. If you have these symptoms it means that a dental abscess has already formed.

Assuming you mean a dental abscess, you will know if you have one soon enough! It hurts like blazes, the gum will swell up and be painful to the touch

A lifetime of dental problems

You may have a lump on your gum and pain in the teeth surrounding the lump whilst eating or drinking cold or hot drinks.
