Braces and lisps ??????!

Question: Braces and lisps ??????
I'm getting braces soon and i'm wondering does the lisp you get when you first get them last the whole time you hae them or does it go away after a while or so when you've got used to them

Answers:

When you first get braces, you tongue has to get used to the metal in your mouth so you will have a lisp. But when i got mine, i only had a lisp for a couple days. You can sing, talk, and read outloud to get used to your braces. Don't worry about it too much, when your treatment is over, you'll know that everything was worth it.

When I got my braces on I had a lisp for the first couple of days, I still find it a little hard but I'm only a 2 weeks in on having them!

I was really worried about getting them because of this, I sing and have a singing exam really soon and thought my words would get messed up but turns out braces didn't effect me too bad!

I don't know
