Question: My retainer broke...?
the little metal hook attached to the metal that wraps around the teeth and the plastic broke in half
can i still wear my retainer as is or should i call my ortho?

You should call your ortho and see what he says
I broke mine aswell, you have get the ortho to fix it. If its broken and cant be repaired would will have to pay for a new one to be made. Otherwise they can just glue it back together, like they did to mine:)

Call your orthodontist let him see it. I did that because when I had braces and i got my reatiners the top one broke like yours the wire so my orthodontist just made me another one because he saw it was not made right.
