I don't know about the prices in Australia because I live in the southern US, but where i live you are looking at thousands. A chipped tooth would either need a crown or a filling, depending on the size of the chip, and that can easily cost you $800 for a crown here. Holes would need fillings which normally cost around $100 or so. If you have an abscess tooth it would either need to be pulled or have a root canal, most likely, which could cost around $1000. Taking care of your teeth can mean your life, especially if you have an abscess, because plaque can go to your heart and kill you. Go see your dentist as soon as you can.
