The back wire of my braces broke off?!

Question: The back wire of my braces broke off?
Like the way back of my braces, theres a wire that sticks out and it always catches on the inside of my cheek and pulls. It really hurts and wax doesn't help. Well early today, it caught really deep and I moved my mouth and it broke off. It must of gotten weak from always catching and bending. Is that bad? Theres no more of it hanging off, so the rest is in the bracket of the next tooth. I'm going to the doctor on Monday and I dont want them to yell at me becasue I freak out when ppl yell at me and I hate the dentist... not a good combo :( I know I can't fix it but I'm just worried it will mess up my braces. I just got them too, like 3 months ago

Thanks!

It isnt a big deal at all , that happend to me , its commen dont worry just go to the denist and he/she will fix it :) and no it wont affect it

Well, I've had this before, and it was annoying. The wire is not secured, so it's shifting from the left or right of your mouth. When you get to your orthodontist, just tell him/her about it and they will know what to do. If it REALLY bothers you, call them for an earlier appointment and to reschedule the due one.

I guess you went to a cheap dentist to get braces but just go to the dentist and let them fix it

go to your orthodontist
