Question: Why are my braces different from normal?
I got braces yesterday. They do not look like the traditional braces. The brackets have no "o-shaped" rubber bands and the arch wire does not go through the brackets, it's above them. The arch wire also has these loop shapes on the top which are used to hold the rubber bands.

You may have Damon braces. They use a different type of bracket.

the dentist probably thinks your teeth are retarded, if you confront him and say 'my teeth aren't retarded!' then he might change them, don't worry bbz you'll be fine xxx.
