is getting braces worth it?!

i had braces for two years when i was younger
personally i dont think its worth it because then for the rest of your life you need to wear a retainer while you sleep and i find that disgusting so i don't do it and just threw it out
its rediculous im gonna enjoy my life and sleep time

if it is only a fraction of teeth misalignment it may not be worth the effort. most whom have it done though do enjoy the results for rest of life. only you can really decide if you think it will be worth it.

son had his done and after 18 it realy cost him ￡￡￡ he so loves his teeth now and has a brilliant smile giving him lot sof confidence.

I think that they are worth it, and you should get them. An orthodontist that I talked to said that you should have straight teeth for when you get a job. I know that sounds stupid, but I think its true in a way. You'll probably have braces on for 2 years if you take good care of them.

P.S Haha, I also wondered what it would be like kissing with braces! :P

Braces are so worth it. Although they seem like a burden they become routine for after a while and can be fun from time to time. Sometimes they enhance ur beauty also. When it's done you will have a beautiful smile and the people who see you on the regular wil be impressed. They good for gettin a job too

Yes I would get them. I used to have them and I will warn you that they are uncomfortable for the first few days. You will not be able to eat any hard food because of the pressure of the braces that move your teeth. But once it settles down you will be fine. It really is worth it, my teeth are very straight now.

I had slightly crooked teeth before I had braces ,I got braces and my teeth look great now so they are definitely worth it and I wouldn't worry about kissing it's fine and doesn't feel different and are no set backs.
