Interdental brush or floss?!

Question: Interdental brush or floss?

Are they the same? Can interdental brushes go under the gum line, like floss?

I have TMJ which makes flossing difficult.

Answers:

An interdental brush can go partially under the gum tissue but not as far or as affective as floss. If you have had only one dentist diagnose you as having TMJ, let me encourage you to get a second opinion from an Oral Surgeon. Good luck and I wish you well.
