Broken brace wire; is it an emergency?!

Question: Broken brace wire; is it an emergency?
I was crunching on some biscuits when suddenly the wire, at the extreme right end of lower teeth snapped. It isn't causing any pain, and my next appointment is just next week. Is it critical or dangerous? Just asking to be sure.

Just call the orthodontist's office and ask their advice about what to do if anything.

You should get it checked out right away! If something loosens, it will be HELL with the pain, because your teeth will have been free for a few days, and, now, all of a sudden, they're confined again!

The same thing happened to me, only with brackets. Owwowwoww I am in PAAAAAIN right now! I just got my braces tightened again today, and a new power chain. :( It's like... f*ck this, braces aren't quite worth all the pain! :(

Providing it is not rubbing and causing you an issue and nothing else is coming loose then it might be okay to next week. But any concerns phone up and ask the receptionist what would be best,

I'd ring up and ask if I were u

no its not an emergency but if their not busy they'd probably prefer ur braces 2 b fixed asap.

my braces just broke too, they're a right pain :o :(
