Question: How long will it take to heal after my tooth extraction?
I had my tooth extracted (one of my back molars) on saturday 12/02/2011. Iv never had a tooth extracted before so I dont know what its meant to look like etc. Its hurting a little bit and I want to know how long its going to take to heal and when i can start eating solids again because im sick of soup already! And also its my 18th on friday!!

You will be able to eat full on Friday.
Avoid Chocolates, Coffee ,Cakes and sweets that get stuck into the teeth.
I think it depends from person to person, young, old, kind of tooth, small in front, big on the back...
A small toot in a young person takes very little time to heal, in 2 or 3 days time you will be eating normally again... if it is a big one from the back it will take longer, it will leave a bigger hole that will take longer to close.
