Is a high noble gold crown more expensive than a porcelain crown?!


Question: Is a high noble gold crown more expensive than a porcelain crown?
I prefer gold crowns on my molars and am wanting to get a gold crown vs. one covered in porcelain. Which type is more expensive? My carrier is Met-Life.
