Yes, definitely see the dentist. If not it could begin to decay deeper into the tooth and cause severe pain and/or long term health problems. Do not hesitate, see your dentist immediately.

If you have to ask, you most likely have not gone to the dentist when you should have. Usually 2X a year, to have a cleaning, and a check up. It is likely you do have a cavity. Better get it checked out soon.
