Does a cavity fill in usually take only like a minute or two?!

Question: Does a cavity fill in usually take only like a minute or two?
I recently just got a fill in and she like prepared my my mouth for like 5 minutes maybe. But when she started drilling it only took like one minute. Is that normal for it to go so fast. I'm just askin because my tooth never hurt and I didn't even know I had a cavity until she told me. So I was wondering if you think it was a bullshit and a way for her to get money.

Answers:

If it was a small cavity, it would be very quick and you would have no pain before the procedure. Only when a cavity gets large does it hurt and become sensitive.
