I'm sceard of my nhs dentist.?!

Question: I'm sceard of my nhs dentist.?
I realise that without an examination a straight answer is impossible however I would appreciate any opinion from a specialist.I recenly visited a dentist, because one of my fillings came out.I couldn't make an appointment straight away so by the time of visit i was in moderate pain. After check up and an X-ray he couln't justify if there is infection so he put a dressing on and ask me to come back in 2 weeks saying that if pain will go away he can do a filling, but if it won't there will be probably extraction. On Saturday I was in big pain and seek help.On emergency appointment dentist diagnosed an abscess and infection. He performed root canal treatmen, removed some of the nervs(some of them were alive some dead)applied an antybiotick.MY PAIN HAS GONE AWAY.I have got very curvy canals and already peace of Ni-Ti instrument fractured in one of the teeth.Even "emergency" dentist told me to remind my dentist about this.I am terryfied to go back to continue my treatment with him, because he was very unpleasant, undelicate and I know I shouln't say that but in my opinion not skilled.I didn't trust him.Emergency dentist told me root canal treatment should be continued.I want to save my tooth!I have made an appointment with different dentist, but its on 5th March. So my question is CAN I WAIT THAT LONG??to continue cleaning canals. My appointment is coming up this Thursday, but I don't want to go.I don't feel my tooth. There are no other options here where I live.I can't afford to go privet. What are my chances, please?i appologise for my bad english and Thank you in advance for ANY opinion.

It appears that you need to be more confident with your dentist or change him. when a filling comes out and decay is deep, this is cleaned out and a temp filling/dressing is put over hole to allow any infection to drain away until tooth has settled and tooth can be filled however around 4 out of 10 patients need a root treatment as the infection spreads and the nerve dies off. A Root treatment was the best option for you, a molar has 3 roots therefore 3 canals and this can be very very tricky to remove the nerves and clean them out, and then out in paper points to drain the infection and remove all bacterias. I am not sure what a Ni Ti is? It is probably a piece of the GP point which is paper and is similar to a cocktail stick, he would not have left a piece of dangerous material in you. If you really want to save your tooth then you must go back and have the RCT finished sooner than March as this is too long. NHS dentists are great and all private dentists started as NHS dentists but just wanted more dosh and to charge extra for nothing more than NHS give.

I am a NHS Dental Nurse

Believe me the dentists employed for N H are as good as private. Just let him get on with it and have confidence.
