to Sienna^ there is a such thing as a stain within the tooth, known as tetracycline stains.it can happen during the time of taking antibiotics when the teeth are still growing.there is fluorosis,and intrinsic stains which occur from excessive intake of fluoride causing mild staining to severe stains. a good solution for stained teeth are veneers.Veneers can be a layer of composite-resin or porcelain material that covers the tooth surface for a white appearance,they work great but can be costly.
