Teeth white problems?!

Question: Teeth white problems?
Ok so I just recently asked my dentist about tartar and he said that I might just have brushing problems. My teeth aren't as white as I see everyone elses and I feel really uncomfortable now because I want my teeth whiter, he said that I probably have just been brushing them wrong, I have of course your supposed to brush with a 45 degree angle down dowager the gums and I've been brushing head on. He suggested a automatic toobrush to help get the plaque off easier and I bought one. I've been brushing for about a week now and my teeth have been kind of better but still not that white. My question is, will they get even whiter? Do I have to brush for longer to notice changes? What are some of your tips? I brush every morning and night, should I brush 3 times a day and will that make a difference?

Answers:

Brush your teeth atleast 3 times a day, brushing before heading to bed is a must as it helps get rid of all the build up of food residues from the entire day! Try rinsing with mouthwash, such as Listerine.
Brush, floss, and rinse for white teeth!

Also you could try brushing your teeth with baking soda...take a little bit of baking soda on your toothbrush and brush like you normally would. Do this twice a month.

Try eating celery sticks. It's helps whiten your teeth too and it's also good for you!

Avoid drinking coffee, tea, red wine, etc., as they stain your teeth very fast!

Hope that helps!

Well if you are brushing night and day properly, then you should continue to do so. If there isn't any changes within about a month and a half. you should try mixing Bi-carbonated soda, a pinch of salt and some water together until it makes a paste. Then get your tooth brush and brush your teeth with that. That should hopefully work and it is a hole lot more better then using those expensive tv commercial teeth wightener's. Good luck and if all else fails well then sorry.
PS: You should notice wighter teeth in about 2 weeks.

Peoples' teeth are so white these days because they have them whitened! Did you ask about having your dentist giving you a whitening treatment?
