my question is after you have your?!

Question: My question is after you have your?
tooth extracted and they pack and stitch it up should it still bleed much right after..

Answers:

Yes, a little, for a short time right after. After the surgery is over, they will put gauze in your mouth, then give you instructions on what to do and extra gauze to take home, if they don't, ask for it, you will definately need it. Right after you get home, within about an hour is when your mouth will bleed the most, you should change the gauze after the first hour, then about every hour and a half after that for at least 3-4 1/2 hours. After that, your mouth should not bleed much at all, if blood is still pouring out of your mouth at this point, call the dentist. You should also not eat or even drink for the first four to six hours after the surgery, and then only maybe warm soup or tea( you probably wont have much of an appitite anyway) and nothing really hot. And definately do not brush your teeth or use store bought mouhwash for at least four to five days after. Only rinse with a mixture of 8 oz. of warm water and a half a teaspoon of salt two times a day, especially after you eat, because for about two weeks after, you are going to get a crazy amount of food stuck in the cavities until they heal completely, I know from experience.

Not much. When I got 4 pulled at once, the most bleeding happened over night, and I'd wake up with just a little dry blood on my tounge. Brush your teeth before bed gently, rinse with special mouthwash, and sometimes you can put brace wax on it, or petroleum jelly. Helped me a little. good luck!

Yeah. I had two teeth removed and they both bled kinda a lot. Also another impacted tooth exposed, that bled SO MUCH.

I hate dental surgery xO

It can still ooze some blood but your mouth should not be filling up with blood. If it is you should contact your dentist.

Also the more active you are, the more your blood will flow.

Extraction sites do tend to seep blood for as long as three day's for many people..If it's more than just a seeping issue you need to see your dentists.

Yes for a short time.

I don't remember, you won't notice it if it does.
