Snap on smile question.....Or questions....Please help!!!?!

Soooo, I went to the dentist today, and after some slight arguments back and forth, the dentist gave in, took molds of my teeth and sent me on my way. Nothing heated, lol, but he was worried cause I have 3 cavities on a couple of my back top teeth, and I was only getting my top arch. I explained to him that I understood there was decay and that I was actually planning on getting those filled, but right now the general dentist in my area is completely filled and I needed a better "smile" for a couple of occasions coming up. I'm NOT going to wear this appliance 24/7. I will STILL brush twice a day, floss 3 times a day, AND use my mouth wash. I won't let my real teeth go to waste. He was pretty enthusiastic after a bit. He took the molds of my teeth, and then said he was sending them off to the lab today and in about 2 weeks or as soon as they deliver the smile he would call me to go pick it up.

HOWEVER, I'm a bit worried cause while he was on the phone with the lab explaining my case to them, his assistant came in with my notice from snap on smile and made the comment "you do understand that the lab can refuse your case if they feel you don't need or can't get the snap on appliance, right?" So although the dentist said I'll get the appliance in 2 weeks, I am now WORRIED that I won't get it. They took the molds and everything, but I'm scared I will get a call saying they denied it....

Has anyone had this issue, or what are your thoughts on it?
