I'm getting braces soon...help please!?!

Ok so first of all don't be scared braces will give you a amazing smile!
so you go in sit in the chair, Your orthodontist will come over and clean your teeth just like a normal cleaning at the dentist. next he/she will use a special cleaner to clean all of your teeth. then they will put these things in to keep your lips away from your teeth. this make your teeth stay dry but also your lips relay dry!. then they will place the brackets one by one this seems to take forever when your just sat there! next they will use a blue light to harden the glue on the brackets. next its time for the wire to be placed when they put this in your teeth will feel so tight, but they wont hurt whilst there being put in. the pain will come after a few houres and will stay for 3-5 days! then will hurt again after every tightening of the braces

There's nothing to be scared of. They glue the braces on your teeth, explain how to care for them properly and off you go. Braces do make your teeth a bit sore, but that's to be expected, they are moving your teeth around, after all.

HA-HA! Its not that bad i am thirteen and i just got mine and its FINE! you dont feel really any thing during the purcedure, but after its done its kind of sore but you get to pick out your favorite colored bands, its actually kinda fun, BTW i am a girl and i love the purple bands, and the soreness goes away after a day!

I'm gettin them next week too. A lot of my friends have them and they say it's not that bad. You'll get used to them after like a week. lol. and P.S. Nick jonas is mine :)
