Does it hurt to get a tooth pulled? Read Details! HELP!?!

Question: Does it hurt to get a tooth pulled? Read Details! HELP!?
I have to get my tooth pulled next week. It is a baby tooth that is already pretty loose and has a cavity on it that has been there since I was like 7. Will it hurt for him to pull it out? Truthfully? What is it like to get a tooth pulled? Maybe since it is a baby tooth in the front of my mouth and already loose will make it easier? PLEASE HELP!

It will hurt way less than a bee sting... So don't worry about it... Being a baby tooth you will probably feel some pressure but not pain... If you are too worried about it ask your doc to put some "rub on anesthesia" (I don't know the name, I've had that put on before ^^).

Good Luck!

I had four molars removed a few weeks ago, using local anesthetic and numbing cream. It wasn't too bad really, just quite a few injections which are a pain, but even that wasn't as bad as usual because they injected right next to the teeth rather than at the back of the mouth, which didn't hurt almost as much. Worst thing about it really was being convinced the dentist was going to break my jaw when she pulled the bottom two out - it didn't hurt, but my god, the force it felt like she was using was unbelievable. It only took about 45 minutes for all four to be removed and most of that was trying to get me to calm down enough to inject me if i'm honest, so i'm sure you'll be in and out in no time :) Good luck x

I'm blessed with rather untidy teeth and a bossy orthadontist, so i've had a fair bit of work done on them so far, and still a fair bit to come.

Ah... The art of teeth removal. Having had around 5 or more baby teeth pulled out (my teeth are perfectly healthy thank you, they had to make room for adult teeth) I really do believe it depends on the dentist.

My first tooth removal was NOT as nice as i would've hoped, the needles hurt (but don't they all?) and the anesthetic didn't exactly, um, work. As it should anyways.

Second time round was pretty good (new dentist).

Third time round, new dentist again, barely felt the needles and I didn't even realize he had pulled the teeth out till he was like "it's finished, you can get out of the chair now" lol.

Honestly it should be fine. It'll hurt a bit, but be grateful you don't have to get braces ;) if you're really worried, talk to your dentist about it. And if it feels like the anesthetic isn't working, tell him (or her).

I have a tiny mouth...

i had a back tooth pulled and didn't feel a thing. the adult tooth grew back about a year later and everything was ok. i never got a front tooth pulled but its proabably easier then the back teeth so im sure it will be ok. and since its loose it should come out quicker as well.
so no need to panic ;)

had a tooth pulled before.

That depends on the dentist and the anaesthetic. You are having a living part of your body removed while intact so the subconscious will freak out and tell you to stop what is happening. But if it is loose then there should be fewer roots attached and therefore less of a connection to the brain. There is nothing to worry about :)

how many tooth you are going to pull out? will its hurts, depends on the dentist how good they are some dentist are good some are rough the way they pulled your teeth. but if it is only one you will be fine, there's no pain.

There's no pain as such, it's more like an awful sensation that you can't feel--weird I know.
