Is there anything that I can do for a sore throat following my wisdom teeth extr!

Question: Is there anything that I can do for a sore throat following my wisdom teeth extraction?
I've taken all the prescribed pain med, the dexemethosone, the antibiotics, but this sore throat hurts like a *$&T& and I wa wondering if there was anything. I'm pretty sure sore throat lozenges are out since I just had the surgery today and sucking on anything is out for at least 24 hours.

Is there anything else I can do?

Answers:

When I have a sore throat I mix about a tablespoon or 2 of honey and some lime juice put it in the microwave for 10 seconds and drink it slowly. Drink that about 3 times a day.

Firstly I'd take the homoeopathic remedy Arnica (potency 30c). There is a also remedy that is often good for sore throats, though it doesn't work for all sore throats. Its called Aconite and it would also be best to take it in potency of 30c. Take one pill (they are really tiny). If you get some relief take another about 4 hours later and another 4 hrs after that. Then stop unless the symptoms worsen again. There's more but it's gonna be quicker if I copy and paste the following -
Dental Trauma:
Injuries resulting in bruising or fractures- use Arnica 30C three times daily for chronic problems, or every hour for acute injury for up to 6 doses. Injuries resulting in nerve damage should be treated with Hypericum 30C every hour for acute injury. Injuries resulting from puncture wounds, such as injections, use Ledum 30C every hour. Injuries resulting from incisional wounds, use Staphysagria 15C every hour. For tired sore jaws following prolonged surgical procedures that are improved by warmth, use Mag phos 30C every hour. For tired sore jaws following surgical procedures that are not improved by warmth, use Arnica 30C every hour. Check the link below for more info. Hope this helps.
