just go to the dental nurse (not necessarily dentist) and ask her to put some pain killer liquid on the tooth and a cotton - it's the proffessional way.

pretend you're in pain, she might do it for free, it's best to do it when the dentist is not there. ;-)

Ummm.... a piece of bread in your tooth is gonna make the chip waaaaaaaaaaaay more noticeable. And people are gonna be like "why the heck do you have bread in your teeth"
It's perfectly okay to put bread in it but................................. why? Won't that look weird?
