how long does your tooth bleed after extraction?!

Question: How long does your tooth bleed after extraction?
i got my tooth pulled out yesterday afternoon and it is still bleeding right now ( 2.00 pm) the following day. is this normal? p.s thanks in advance

Answers:

Bleeding is not normal after 24 hours however oozing is and i feel that is what you are describing. If it is fresh red blood and your mouth is filling up then get back to your dentist asap. If your saliva is pink and you can taste blood then this is normal and to be expected. it is not nice but a symptom of extraction. Do not put gauze in your mouth if you are oozing as every time you do this you will dislodge the blood clot trying to form to start healing and stop oozing. If your mouth is fresh blood then bite down on damp gauze for 20 Min's and get to the dentist.

this is very normal as the gum is still in a tender state.
from your tongue touching it to a bit of pizza touching it it will bleed.

it's probably normal, as long as you have Gauss or something on it, the opening should clot within a day or two. 3 tops.
