Lead apron forgotten during dental x-ray, shouldn't be too harmful right?!

Question: Lead apron forgotten during dental x-ray, shouldn't be too harmful right?
Yesterday I had 2 wisdom teeth pulled. The oral surgeon (resident) ordered a post-operative x-ray to see if any root was left.

I go to the dental school for my dental work. Most everyone is a student. A radiology student took the x-ray. I had to have 3 in all because the first 2 weren't usable. During the first x-ray she forgot to put the apron on me.

Could a single dental x-ray w/o the apron cause in problems for me?

If you are pregnant then it could be harmful but if you are not then the exposure will not be enough to harm you, the exposure you get from the atmosphere measures around the same as an xray so don't worry.

I am a dental nurse

No problem. You get a similar amount of radiation from a dental x-ray as you get from sitting in front of a T.V.for about 2 hours

NO, the amount of radiation is minimal.

not at all...
an exposure of about 5 times a year is not likely to cause any post radiation hazard
