i can't pay the orthodontist and want my braces off, do they have to do it?!

Only get your braces removed if the orthodontist thinks its time. I know money may be tight but if you can somehow get the money together wait until you teeth are ready. Also you'll need to get a retainer to keep your teeth in place once your braces are removed. If you don't use a retainer your teeth will simply float back to their original position undoing all that hard work. You can only get the retainer from an orthodontist.
