Why is one of my back gums going white and spongy after drinking wine?!


Question: Why is one of my back gums going white and spongy after drinking wine?
I have noticed that after drinking wine or other alcohol the gum one of my back teeth goes spongy , seems to whitish and is uncomfortable, not sore but an annoying tingling small pain feeling .
Any ideas , its a crowned tooth too.
