Question: Ok I am paranoid.Please tell me when you look at your uvula(the thing that hangs in mouth)is it spotless clean?

I mean,no red lines, white spots nothing? I noticed mine for the first time today and in the middle of it I can see a red or white spot or something. I have a slight cold, very little and some mucous in my throat but nothing much.
Is that just a vein and normal?

If it's a white spot, you may have strep. Look to see if there's any other white spots on the side of your throat. If it's scratchy to talk or eat, see your doctor soon (you can just walk in to the ER room, that's what I did) and they'll check you out and send a prescription to your local pharmacy. Took me only an hour. Also gargle with warm, very salty water until it goes away.

lol i thought it said vulva, na uvula...which is y i was really confused lol
