Did my wisdom tooth blood clot fall out after drinking water?!
Question: Did my wisdom tooth blood clot fall out after drinking water?
I had my wisdom tooth removed 2 days ago and I've been paranoid of loosing my blood clot ever since then because I don't want to get a dry socket. But after drinking water 10mins ago, something went on my tongue, and I looked in the mirror and it was this grayish color looking thing which I thought was a blood clot. How am I able to tell if my blood clot fell out or not? I can't see it because I got my upper wisdom tooth removed. Would I be experiencing more pain if it falls out? I can't really tell yet because my jaw/tooth still hurts.

I would not worry unless you have pain that you can even get to sleep to.
I am pretty sure you would feel it hun if it was the blood clot cause i heard dry socket is unbelievable pain to the point you can't open your mouth don't worry too much it should be okay after 2 days to drink stuff that how long i usually wait
It's not a blood clot. It was one of the stitches. It's normal. Drink lots of water to avoid dry socket.. Stay away from smoking.
