Question: Why is it when you get molar teeth pulled it cause your throat & neck and gums to be sore?
I got my 2 bottom right molars out yesterday it hurt really bad this time cause i already had my left molars out and i have that teeth disorder which means i have all my bottom teeth out now and it hurts when i swallow water are anything it like my thorat kinda sore and sides of my neck what causes the molar teeth to do that after being pulled?

Answers:

see, the molar is supplied by branches of same nerve, which supplies throat , gums...
so u may feel that throat or gums are paining..
but they actually arent
its because , due to single nerve, the pain may be felt somewhere else too because of sensitization of those nerve fibers too...
it may be called referred pain
u neednt worry...

im a dentist :)
