Should I become a dental assistant or a massage therapist?!

Question: Should I become a dental assistant or a massage therapist?
I would like to do both. The deal breaker is witch one is more in demand and witch makes more...... HELP!

Answers:

lynn, you should learn both. I will say dental assistant pays more and you have regular hours. A massage therapist has a more demanding job physically - mine had to have surgery recently on her shoulder as a result of years at her job. I think both are in demand, if you find the demanders.

PS: It is "which," not "witch." Good grammar doesn't hurt in any job. Peace and love.

Go for the Dental Assistant definitely. More money. Especially if you then progress and study to become a Dentist. Remember, people NEED dental treatment. We don't NEED a massage (although they are nice!).

Massage therapist

Dentists are supposed to the be the unhappiest people. Plus being someones assistant isn't as fulfilling as working for yourself.

Neither. I graduated as a dental assistant 4 months ago...still looking for a job here in PA. Massage therapist make no money so if I had to chose it would be dental assistant.

I'd rather be a massage therapist. I wouldn't want to be looking in people's mouths all the time.

I think that the witch is in more demand...

Dental Assistant....you won't have to do happy endings.
