Around 18 yrs of age...painful but tolerable.
All the best.

Wisdom teeth can begin to develop as young as 13 years old, usually erupting around 18 years, but because teeth are constantly shifting throughout our lives, they can erupt at any time. My husbands wisdom teeth began to erupt at 30, and he had to go through the extractions at that age, which can be more difficult and uncomfortable because the roots of the teeth are fully developed. The younger you are when they are extracted the easier, because the teeth form in a bud, which is basically like a sac in the jaw bone and usually they can just be opened up and popped right out! As far as pain goes, it can be sore after, but the only real pain you experience is if you get dry socket. When you lose the clot after the tooth is extracted and the jaw bone is exposed directly to oral environment and air. Do not drink from straws after the extractions because the suction can pull the clot out. Hope this helps!

there's a huge variation. some people get them really early and some people never get them at all. i'm 19 and i only have them on the bottom.

they hurt when they push up through the gum, but it isn't bad at all.
