How can I make this tooth stay put?!

Question: How can I make this tooth stay put?
I have a lower, front tooth that I am afraid will fall out. Every few months it feels like it's getting loose. Is there anything I can do to make it stronger? (In addition to regular brushing, flossing etc.) I have nightmares about it all the time and it's starting to drive me nuts.

IF YOU'RE AN ADULT! If you have a tooth that gets loose for no reason, it's really time to see the dentist, things like gum bleeding and loose teeth is a big sign of periodontal disease. You should educate yourself about this because soon that tooth might actually not be saved even by a dentist. When plaque keeps getting under your gums it creates pockets making the gums not attach well to the tooth. You really need to take this serious, I'm sure other teeth will follow. Not to mention that periodontal disease is linked to many serious illnesses such as diabetes, heart disease and strokes, please read these links and watch the video about what's involved in the periodontal treatments. #1 call your dentist!

There are a couple of remedies for a losse tooth; 1.) you can inject steroids into the gum directly underneath the tooth in question, this will strengthen the hold. 2.) you can apply false teeth glue to try to help hold the tooth. 3.) you can try and do the peanut butter remedy, in which you hold a teaspoon of peanut butter between the tooth/gum of the problem spot and your lip. The proteins in the pb strengthen the tooth and gum. 4.) you could take a break from hard foods which could help heal the week area. Number one would yield the beat results but steroids are not always readily available and can be painful. Best of luck

How old are you? Are those baby tooth? That is okay, because other teeth will grow out. If it is not baby teeth, you may have lack of calcium in your system. Maybe it is the sugary food that is nagging your tooth and making loose. I don't know how much you floss, but you have to take it easy when you do that. Don't go too deep. If you are seriously concern, ask a dentist for questions or see one.
