how much water 2 hours before general anesthesia?!

What we are concerned about is having stomach contents come up and go into your lungs while you are anesthetized. Take the pill with as little water as you can, but an ounce or so is fine.

when they say one SIP they really really mean it.
when i had to take a pill in the hospital before general anesthesia they gave me less than a full little medicine cup.
but when i've had to take a pill at home prior to the general anesthesia i take 1 mouth full. thats waaaaaaay more than what they gave me in the hospital so seriously just drink the smallest amount you can to get the pill down.

Call your doctor's office and ask to speak with the nurse. She will be able to help you over the phone. Anesthesia is no joke. Yahoo is not the place to get this kind of medical advice.
