Do braces hurt? (when they put it in)?!

No, not when they put them in, but they do ache for a couple days afterwards, and after every time you get them tightened.

Yes!!!!!
After you get them, you may not be able to eat solid foods until 1-2 weeks. I had to drink soup, eat porridge and mashed potatoes for two weeks!
But then, it gets better. :) It may hurt when you go to get the rubber bands tightened. But you'll be okay. Good luck!

it is painless when they are putting them on. you will feel them when aching you wake up the next day and for about 2 days. same goes for tightening them. as a matter of fact, i am getting mine tightend in 30 minutes. like i said they only hurt for about 2 days

do not let people scare you. you will be fine. they are annoying if anything. you will get food stuck in them.

when they put them on, it doesnt hurt at all. but after a couple hours, or until the next day, your teeth will be REALLY sore.

Well mine dint hurt a lot wen they put them on. But i waz practically begging for asprin every 3-4 hours. So it helped if I just slept it off.

A day or so. That is when they started hurting my mouth. But the inside of my cheek hurt the worst so use the wax to help

Yes the first week they hurt like hell but after their fine and you can barley notic them
