Should I get Braces...?!

Question: Should I get Braces...?
Well, I'm almost 13 and I haven't lost all my baby teeth yet (yeah I'm slow, I knowww). I have a gap in between my two front teeth. Its not that big, like 1.5 millimeters and their getting closer together since my new teeth are pushing them, but my mom wants me to get braces. I think I'll miss my gap though! It's something that nobody else has and it sometimes makes me feel cute. Sometimes I'm self-concious about it though, but not many people notice it. So should I get braces?

It's up to you to decide. I have horribly crooked teeth and I never got braces. When I was your age I had a chance to get braces, my aunt was going to pay for them, but I didn't because I didn't care about my teeth being crooked at the time. Now that I'm an adult I wish I had gotten them. I just have to live with it now though because I can't afford to pay for braces. I have a lot of problems with my teeth now too because they are so crowded. I can't floss. It won't go between my teeth b/c they're so crowded. So I get cavities and my teeth are super sensitive. Anyway, what I'm trying to say is that if you don't get them now you might regret it later, so think about it real hard.

Yes! i have them and they help a lot they don't hurt and all they do is glue them on also
i miss my old gap :( i have the same problem tho my teeth are to far apart and my new teeth cant come in so i need them for only a short 3Years i only have 1 year left tho i hope this information helped and hope you solve your problem.

well you cant get braces while you have your baby teeth, first of all..
and second, i know how you feel. my parents made me wear braces for years. after they came off, i didnt wear the retainer and one of my teeth went a bit forward... i like that tooth being crooked, i feel like it gives me personality. i dont want to be perfect, so i never got it fixed. braces are a pain, and if youre happy with how you look, thats all that matters!

Getting braces is expensive. but in the long run it is a lot better for you. braces can prevent a lot of oral issues in the future if you can maintain your hygiene. However. most orthodontists don't want to put in braces while you still have baby teeth. you may have to wait for a while!

Honestly I think you answered your own question in a sense. If you like it embrace it and flaunt it! I wouldn’t recommend doing something to please someone else, ultimately you are the one who has to deal with your decisions.

Absolutely not

Hell yeah
