Question: Im getting jaw surgery soon and im scared?
im really scared because i have never had surgery before, and i have Trypanophobia, the intense fear of needles and IVs. im so scared. does anyone have any tips to help me?

I'm guessing they will put you to sleep, right? If they do, that does not require needles! If they don't, you can ask for laughing gas or rub-on number.
They should be able to give you something to relax you. I thinker that the iv is the worst part. I was supposed to have jaw surgery because on my tmj but I never got it done. I was supposed to go through orthognatic surgery I believe that's what it's called but this is the best for you.

It is scary any sort of surgery, try not to worry, you will be asleep, and the operator will have done it all lots of times, think of the end result you will look great.
