Swollen gum above chipped tooth?!

Question: Swollen gum above chipped tooth?
ok, so basically a few months ago i chipped my tooth right down to the gum and it wasn't sore then a few weeks later my face was swollen when i woke up. My tooth wasn't sore but when i went to the doctor, i was told it was my teeth that were causing the swelling. Anyway i got antibiotics and it went away and gave me no other bother until last week my tooth all along the upper right side of my jaw were really really really sore. I couldn't afford to go to the dentist so i took nurofen and it went away. A few days later the swelling came back but went away over night. I woke up yesterday morning and my face was swollen again. My teeth aren't sore but right above the chipped tooth there's like this massive bump and it's really sore. It's obviously what's making my face swell. I went to the dentist today and they said i may have a gum infection and to go back on Monday to get the tooth removed. But also with the swelling, i've been getting real bad headaches and this sick feeling in my throat. Could it be because i have an infection? I have no idea. Has anyone ever had this before or know what could be going on?

You need to see a doctor soon. They can bill you later. Jus do a small payment plan. As of right now don't play around with infection that close to the brain. Not tryn to scare you but you need to take care yourself.

Yes you have an infection no offense but what kind of question is that you said that your dentist said you have a gum infection

Well any ways the gum infection is most likely causing you to feel I'll remember that all an infection is is a bacteria

You have an Abscessed tooth. Yes it's an infection. It needs to be removed. Antibiotics only temporarily make it go away, it comes right back.

it sound like it's infected - go see a doctor or you may get worse damage
