I bite the inside of my cheeks all of the time, but I do it because I have a minor case of ADD and I need to distract my mind somehow, I just chew gum when it gets bad, and I found other ways to distract my mind. I play with my hair or my fingers... there really isn't an easy cure, you just have to catch yourself in the act and realize that it's not healthy to be chewing your cheeks... I've gotten better about chewing them by just telling myself it's not healthy...

That is a toughie. As far as I know you're just going to have to catch yourself doing it and make yourself stop.

Try negative reinforcement for a while - every time you catch yourself biting your cheek you should snap your hand with a rubber band. A little painful reminder that biting your cheeks is bad.

Positive reinforcement is better and more thorough but how can you reward yourself for NOT BITING YOUR CHEEKS? It's like... every time you're not biting your cheeks you should... get a cookie? I dunno.

Not sure about cancer but you definitely can get a serious infection that can cause bad breath and other complications...also try look in the mirror when you do it. You may not realize this but you are making a funny face when you do that..There is a girl at work who always does it and even though she is pretty, she looks quite ridiculous. Try chewing gum like everyone else suggested.

Try chewing gum instead

chew gum instead

im pretty sure it cant cause cancer and if so what kind? it doesn't seem logical
