Are there really braces you can get for behind your teeth?!

Question: Are there really braces you can get for behind your teeth?
So that they are hidden? Does anyone have this? What's it like?
If I have an over bite bigger than a f u c k - how long would I have braces for?

I know I should probably just ask a dentist - but why do that when you all are so d a m n smart?

I have a bar behind my lower two front teeth. It was placed there after my braces were taken off and is permanent to keep my lower teeth straight. My sister has the same thing. My mother had no idea my sister had it for three years until mine was placed in... so it is quite hidden to the public! When I think about it (like right now because of this question) I tend to lick the bar a lot, but after a while forget it's there again.

No, not behind the teeth. I just got a brace appliance fitted which you take out when cleaning your teeth. O_O it makes you talk weird O_O .

Went to the ortho's yesterday

Yes, they are called lingual braces but they are more difficult than traditional brackets. There are also much fewer practitioners that offer them to their patients.

Only ever had braces to keep my pants up.
