my tooth is quite skew?!


Question: My tooth is quite skew?
my tooth is pretty skew... and goes sideways its not straight but its turned on a side. sometimes my tongue touches it and it makes me want to play with it with my tongue! also, i get scared that it will fall out and i try to make sure that its not wiggly. and sometimes it hurts when I eat on it! .. can my tooth fall since it's skew? thanks

No. The periodontal ligament hold the tooth inside the alveolar bone socket. The skew teeth is due to nature of dental space availabe during eruption and can be corrected by orthodontic treatment. But if you have periodontitis (periodontal ligament disease) with periodontal pocket more than 5mm maybe the teeth can be mobile and fall. I recommend you to go to visit your dentist.
