No Co-Pay/Full Coverage Dental Insurance?!

Question: No Co-Pay/Full Coverage Dental Insurance?
I am currently unemployed / uninsured and I have a really bad tooth, along with a few others that are causing me a lot of pain. I am also living on a Low Income. Does anyone know of an officially recognized, reputable, low cost Dental Insurance provider that covers the full bill, and doesn't charge for co-pay amounts? Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

Good luck! You will never find insurance that pays 100%. An insurance company would loose their shirts if they did that. Most people have dental insurance through their job, and their employer is the one who decides on the coverage. Even the best dental insurance that I've seen didn't pay 100% of everything. They may cover 100% of preventative procedures, such as x-rays, exams, and simple cleanings. However most provide coverage for other procedures at either 80% or 50%, with extractions using being in the 80% catagory and dentures and crowns being in the 50% catagory. Anyone who goes out and buys individual coverage, such as finding a company on their own not through a job, usually finds out that their coverage is much lower and that they have waiting periods. Waiting periods are when the insurance refuses to pay for certain procedures for a specific period of time, many times it is 12 months after you begin coverage.

I'm sorry that I'm being so blunt, but I don't want you to get your hopes up on this. There is NO dental insurance company that is low cost and covers 100% of everything. Those two things can't even be put into the same sentence, (i.e. low cost and 100% coverage).

One option is to go to a dental college. They usually offer low cost services if you can get assigned to a college. Baylor dental school in Dallas Texas offers an extraction clinic that is on a first come first served basis. They list their prices on their website.
