Do you think I should go to a dentist for this?!

When I was in grade 7, I noticed one of my front bottom teeth was very very slightly leaning over to one side, though I didn't worry about it.
I'm in grade 9 now and it has leant a bit more to the side, though very slightly but it's still very slowly starting to go crooked.
I'm afraid that throughout the next several years of my life it's going to start pushing my other teeth over. My teeth are quite healthy and straight but not the best.
I told my parents and they said it's nothing and they aren't going to take me to the dentist anytime soon. They told me not to worry about it.
Should I keep asking them anyway?
