can i stop wearing this immediate partial denture after having a tooth pulled?!

Question: Can i stop wearing this immediate partial denture after having a tooth pulled?
i had one of my canine tooth pulled yesterday as it was still a milk tooth and i am 22 lol the dentist pulled it and gave me a partial denture, this thing is hideous and at leastt 2 shades darker than my own teeth it also makes my face look funny as it kind a juts out, im wondering if i can stop using it as im going on holiday in 2 weeks and dont want to look like this, my dentist said its so my other teethdon'tt drift into the gap but my mum had her tooth pulled and her dentist never mentioned anything like that and never gave her a denture, i feel embarrassed to speak and embarrassed about how i look anybody in the same position? thanks

HOW MUCH LONGER BEFORE THE PERMANENT IS MADE? BETTER TO WEAR UGLY, ONE FOR NOW BEFORE GOOD ONE GETS MADE TO MAINTAIN SPACE. IF YOU CAN GET A VALPLAST PARTIAL, IT FITS AND LOOKS GREAT AND NO UGLY METAL IS EVER SEEN.

That's strange. Your partial should be the similar shade as your other teeth and it should resemble your canine. I would go back to your dentist and have him fix it. As for not wearing it, I would recommend you continue to wear it. Most of the time, teeth do drift to fill in the open space. The mouth is a very tight space, so when you lose a tooth, it is a natural tendency for the other teeth to move and take its place.
