I need Dental Insurance ASAP for oral surgery without a wait period!?!

Question: I need Dental Insurance ASAP for oral surgery without a wait period!?
I lost my job a month ago (after only being there 2 months) and woke up on Monday with a sore throat and swollen lymph node underneath my right jaw. The next day one of my molars was hurting and noticed part of of my gum tissue was torn. I went to a dentist and they told me I have an infection....and my wisdom tooth was coming out! I'm on antibiotics now but I need all four of my wisdom teeth extracted (especially the one that's infected and it's top counterpart) within the next month. I no longer have dental insurance, every insurance I called has a 6 month wait clause and I don't have a lot of money right now. Any suggestions? Also, I'm in Chicago, Illinois if that helps.

Thanks!

Medical Discount Plan
ideal for those who cannot afford or qualify for traditional health insurance. The companies offer discounted health services for a quite low monthly fee. Benefits include a range of discounts for doctors, hospitals, dental, vision, prescriptions, vitamins, as well as other health services.

Individual & Family Health Plans
This is a major health insurance plan for individuals and families. If you are looking for comprehensive long term health insurance coverage for yourself and/or your family members who are 62 years old or younger - this is the plan to choose.

Short Term Medical Plans
This plan is ideal for individuals in transition. Maybe you have just graduated from college and are no longer covered under your student health insurance or you moved out on your own, and you're no longer covered under your parents' medical insurance plan. Or perhaps you're employed part-time, going to school, leaving home for the first time, or even retiring early. Maybe you've found a new job, but your new employer's group health insurance plan won't kick in until you've been with months.

Common situation you met like many other people,be patient, and check the resource here www.HealthInsuranceFree.info i found very useful for me to solve my similiar problem.

Definitely get insurance for the future, and pay for the extraction of the tooth that is giving you pain now.

For the above answerer - it isn't the Dentist's fault - everyone needs to earn a living that is why the UK has the NHS.

health-quotes.talk4fun.net - my family have this health insurance. It is affordable and has good coverage for dental issues.

The response from dentists, if they had any ethics whatsover, should be a resounding: "LET'S GET YOU IN HERE!"

I don't like most dentists and doctors; in fact, I hate their guts. See if you can find one of the few decent ones. They're out there.

P.S. In regard to the "earning a living" argument below, it is false in my opinion. Those who are dedicated put others before themselves and the money will come, despite the fact that doctors are in business for themselves and have expenses, possible loans to pay, ect. I maintain that it IS their fault and most of them place the value of money over the value of people, and they love money more than they love people.

Doctors also usually simply prescribe pills as a first resort for treating every condition, doing the will of the drug companies. This is instead of using other measures that involve diet, exercise and natural remedies. It's simply above their pay grade, plus their drug company puppeteers would not be happy.

The argument about national health insurance is also false. I was talking to someone from Canada the other day and he was telling me how the glorious doctors up there accept payoffs from the more wealthy people for priority treatment, while the poor still are shunned and go to the back of the system. That system is delusional and for naive people, simpletons and those who are the Obama mentality.

I'm not saying I have all the answers, and I'm sorry to have taken focus away from the problem, which is your immediate situation. Again, look for a decent dentist. There are still some out there. You could possibly look for some sort of payment arrangement or something.
