Is it possible to become a dental assistant then go for dentist?!


Question: Is it possible to become a dental assistant then go for dentist?
I am planning on attending a 2 year college (MCTC). Will I be able to study dental assistant 2 years and then study for dentist or dental hyginesit after?

Yes that is possible. You must have the entry requirements for the dentistry degree first so look into this before getting plans made. Having a dental assistant wont gain you access alone. If you wish to progress to a hygienist then that is possible with just the dental assistant qualification i think.
