Question: HELP! in the uk, braces, teenage, nhs?
Its doing my HEAD IN.. Because my teeth stick out but not at 5mm. Just 4mm. So they won't do it for free. They go to me to go to the private dentist for prices. And they cost grands. Which i aint wasting money on.
And i get really upset about my teeth because she said they will "worsen over time" i mean what the hell, if thats the case put the braces in for me. :L my mum cant even afford for me to get them and they dont seem to give a S**T.
How much did you guys pay? Are there anyways i can push my teeth out over 5mm? LOL. I've tried everything.

That's very unfortunate! I was lucky and got mine on the nhs but my friends have got them for cosmetic and so did my sister and it cost around 2/3 grand and I'm afraid there's no way you can push them out
I got braces because of ''cosmetic problems'' but mine were bad enough that i got them on the nhs. It is very expensive to go private, i know i wouldn't have been able to afford to go private. It sounds like you might just have to live with it, if they are not bad enough to get on the nhs then they are probably not half as bad as you think. If they do get any worse however then you might be able to appeal again and this tme you might get it on the nhs.
