uncomfortable feeling in my gums?!

Question: Uncomfortable feeling in my gums?
for a few weeks now i've had a really odd sensation in my front left tooth kind of uncomfortable i can't really explain it. the gum between this tooth and the next one to it feels kind of swollen compared to the other side and i get the uncomfortable feeling quite bad when i've ate sugary things. i'm terrified of the dentists so i'd really like to know a way i can make my tooth feel normal again. any advice?

Answers:

You probably have a slight gum infection - nothing to worry about just be gentle when brushing but make sure you get everywhere. As it's the gum that is annoying you I doubt you have a hole but it is possible and I would get it checked by the dentist :) don't worry they won't hurt you and if you need a filling then that doesn't hurt either! Try cutting down on sugary things and doing a good brushing pattern and if that hasn't resolved in the next 2 weeks I would see the dentist
