The worth of veneers is entirely subjective. If your teeth are nearly perfect, then no they are not worth it to most people. But if you are a very picky person you may not like having one tooth that is a little bit out of alignment or that is maybe a slightly different color. To that person $20,000 worth of work to fix a minor problem is worth it.
Add a little bit of info for us. How much are you being charged for each veneer? Do you have a photo of your teeth? Are they very misaligned? Are they deeply stained?
Veneers can fix all of those problems, but how much are you willing to pay to have it done right?

There seems to be varying responses on the internet as to how long they last. I have seen it as 5 years, 10 years and 15 years. Aside from the initial expense, you would have to make sure that you can afford the replacements. My SIL had two done a few years ago and can't afford to get them redone and hates the way her teeth look now. You might be better having a chat with a cosmetic dentist to find out what your options are, the costs and how long the treatment is likely to last before needing replacing.
