Answers:

Im no dentist but it sounds like you have sensitive teeth, there are toothpastes like Sensodyne that work quite well for sensitive teeth.

Alternatively check with your dentist to make doubly sure this is what is causing the pain as you may have a small cavity :)

Hi

toothaches/sensitivity can be a real pain, trust me i have been through both. Talking from experience the tooth sensitivity occurred after I made a visit to the dentist for a filling. Parts of my tooth were drilled for the filling to fit in. The sensitivity problem is common especially after a visit to the dentist. The sensitivity eventually went after using colgate sensitivity total.

Now the toothache problem I had was rather random. Two months after visiting the dentist I was having major toothache pains. It would kill during the night resulting in literally no sleep. This was the case for 3nights. The pain went after I took ibuprofen and paracetamol, using colgate sensitivity (weird but it worked) and a soft toothbrush.

Personal experience

you might have a cavity or just really sensitive teeth.
i suggest you go to your dentist to check up on what's going on with your teeth.
in the mean time, you should purchase some toothpaste for sensitive teeth (ex: Sensodyne) to alleviate some of the pain if it really is from sensitivity.

A cavity/sensitive teeth. Go to the dentist.
